On April 13, an IT KickStart event was held by the Chernivtsi IT Cluster for students of the city and region in the cultural and artistic center named after Yuri Mykolaichuk. This event was a big step in the direction of popularizing the IT industry among young people. It became an opportunity for 340 children and teachers from various schools and educational institutions to immerse themselves in the world of IT.

The main goal of the event was to show the participants, why IT training is a key aspect of their future careers. Representatives of the Chernivtsi IT Cluster gathered to tell children about the benefits of studying in local higher education institutions that have excellent IT programs.

Among the speakers of the event were:

Olena Samborska - president of the IT Ukraine Association, Managing Director/HR Operations Director of Luxoft;

Valentyn Stets - CEO of the InterCode company;

Yuriy Hrystiuk - software architect at SoftServe‍
