On April 5, the Ivan Mykolaychuk Cultural and Art Center hosted the IT KickStart conference, which brought together over 200 schoolchildren from Chernivtsi and the region!

CEO of the Chernivtsi IT Cluster Dmytro Shkilnyuk shared the current state of the IT industry, outlined the main areas of work in the field of technology, and spoke about the professions that are shaping the future today.

To support young people and emphasize the importance of IT education in the region, the following spoke at the event:
Pabat Valentyn — Deputy Head of the Chernivtsi OVA for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization (CDTO)
Iryna Tkachuk — Head of the Education Department of the Chernivtsi City Council
Verstyak Andriy — Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Digital Transformation
Oksana Filipova — Co-Founder and Director of MTA.UA, which became a partner of the event.

The speakers of IT KickStart were representatives of the Cluster companies:

The speakers of the event inspired the participants with their own success stories, told how they started their journey in IT, shared insights and practical advice on development in this field.

The students learned how exactly they can take their first steps in IT, what to pay attention to now and what opportunities the world of technology opens up.
