Valtech announces the appointment of Svetlana Gerasimova as the new Managing Director of Valtech Ukraine Svetlana steps into a new role with 18 years of experience in leadership positions in the media and IT industry, and has a deep understanding of Valtech Ukraine - its business, customers, culture, and people.

Svetlana has built a career in innovative sectors and companies: she began her career on one of the first Ukrainian Internet portals - digital media Bigmir.net as a marketing director, and later became managing director of Bonnier Business Press Ukraine. She continued to innovate in the IT industry, which eventually led her to Valtech. Among the clients with whom Svetlana collaborated are major international brands: L'Oréal, Dolby, Philips, P&G, Toyota and Volkswagen.

Transition to a new director position

The last difficult 4 years Valtech Ukraine was headed by Arturas Kvederis, who confidently transfers the reins of power to Svetlana to take the post of regional managing director of Valtech IT services centers in Europe. In the new position, Arturas will focus on growing and scaling services for both Valtech, and for customers, strengthening the unity and optimization of the work of Valtech offices in Bulgaria, Portugal, Poland, Romania, North Macedonia and Ukraine.

Arturas and Svetlana have already taken up their new responsibilities and will continue to work closely together, as Svetlana will report to Arturas, who has taken over as regional managing director.
